Welcome to Scoots Delivery Services (also branded as CASE Delivery / SD Services). By creating an account or placing an order you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
We provide a multi-vendor campus marketplace and delivery coordination service for College of Agriculture, Science and Education (CASE), Jamaica. Merchants fulfil products; riders deliver to selected campus drop-off points.
2. Eligibility & accounts
- You must provide accurate registration details and keep them updated.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for securing OTP / password access.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts for fraud, abuse, or policy violations.
3. Orders & delivery
- Orders are offers to purchase from merchants; acceptance may depend on stock and shop hours.
- Delivery is to campus drop-off points you select — not door-to-door off campus unless we state otherwise.
- Estimated times are approximate and may change with demand, weather, or rider availability.
- Cancel / edit windows (if any) are shown in the App FAQ and order screens.
4. Pricing & payments
- Prices are shown in Jamaican dollars (J$) unless otherwise stated.
- You may pay by wallet, cash on delivery, bank transfer, or card processor where enabled.
- Delivery fees, packaging, tips, and taxes (if applicable) are shown at checkout.
- This App charges for physical goods and delivery services. We do not sell digital content via Google Play Billing or Apple IAP for orders.
5. Refunds & issues
Report missing / wrong / damaged items through Help & Support or order screens promptly. Refunds or credits (including wallet) are handled case-by-case with merchants and our ops team under Jamaican consumer fairness practices.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the App (fraudulent orders, harassment of riders/merchants, scraping, reverse engineering, or illegal items).
7. Third parties
Merchants and riders are independent. We facilitate ordering and delivery logistics but are not the manufacturer of merchant products unless we say so.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided “as is” within reason. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by Jamaican law, our liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
9. Account deletion
You may delete your account in the App (Profile → Delete Account) or via our web deletion page. See our Privacy Policy for data retention exceptions (e.g. payment records).
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after the update date constitutes acceptance.
